Bronte Farmer's Market!

During the summer, the Limitless Learning Initiative reached new milestones by participating in

its first event outside of the school. On August 4, we were thrilled to host a bake sale at the Bronte Farmer’s Market. It was a delightful experience to be a part of, and we are incredibly thankful to everyone who visited the booth!
The event marked a significant leap in our success compared to our previous fundraiser. Our members brought various baked goods such as mini donuts, croissants, brownies, cookies, and other baked goods. We were so grateful to sell over 122 items, raising an impressive $410 in sales.

The market’s atmosphere was welcoming and supportive, with visitors eager to contribute to our cause. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow vendors, event organizers, and all of the friendly visitors of the market!
We learned a lot at this event as well, which will allow us to improve future fundraisers. We observed that some people were hesitant to buy sweet treats at the famer’s market. We realized that brownies, cookies and sweets were not the most suitable choice for the event. While we are deeply thankful for those who supported us, even if they didn’t buy a sweet treat, we now recognize the need to offer items that better align with the market’s demand in the future.

Another challenge we encountered was the lack of payment methods available. Moving forward, we plan to expand our payment options beyond cash and e-transfer.
Until then, please remember to bring some change for our future sales!
All in all, the Bronte Farmer’s Market was a lovely experience, and we are grateful to have been there at the event. Be sure to check out the Bronte Market highlight on the @limitlesslearninginitiative Instagram!
