Krispy Kreme Sale

In December, the Limitless Learning Initiative achieved outstanding success with a fundraising event, raising over $400 to support the Halton Learning Foundation. This accomplishment was only made possible due to the incredible amount of support we received from our engaged school community.

During the event, we sold an impressive 35 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts to students, attracting a large number of participants with huge lines of people who were eager to support our cause. Many students even purchased a full dozen donuts! Additionally, our participants took great advantage of our special discount of 2 donuts for $3, which notably contributed to the majority of our sales.

This being our third fundraising event as an organization, we were able to improve based on our previous experiences. Our team was able to pick the optimal time and place for the sale since we sold items in the cafeteria during the lunch periods. This served as a direct reminder of the fundraiser to the students and aided us to maximize engagement. Additionally, based on past experience, we were also able to strategically decide the best price to sell the donuts at.
Overall, our marketing served as a great help in encouraging students to purchase the donuts. We also learned an important lesson for our next fundraiser: instead of solely advertising the donuts, we thought that we could have focused more on raising awareness about the cause we’re fighting for. Most students were unaware of the fundraiser's purpose, which usually only resulted in one-time sales rather than continuous support of the initiative.

Ultimately, the Limitless Learning Initiative’s Krispy Kreme sale was a great success and has provided us with valuable insights for our future sales. We will continue to enhance our strategies and organize even more successful events like these!
