This year, Limitless Learning Initiative hosted a vibrant booth at Oakville’s annual Canada Day Celebration, held at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park! We were immensely grateful for our success and are pleased to have made a step forward in our goal of making education accessible to children of all ages and backgrounds.

The main highlight of the event was a “Spin the Wheel” activity with the options of Truth or Dare. Participants could win small prizes like bracelets, candy, and stickers for engaging with the activity. The “Truth” option prompted people to answer questions related to our cause, such as “What does education mean to you personally?” or “Why do you think school supplies or financial support matter for students?” Responses were written on colourful sticky notes which we stuck on a whiteboard for public display. The “Dare” option encouraged participants to pose with fun props and share their photos on Instagram stories to spread awareness about our educational equity initiative. These photos can all be found on our Instagram, where we did a recap of the event!

We were thrilled by the enthusiastic response from the community, with over 300 meaningful interactions spanning from young children to adults. The energy and support from attendees made the experience both impactful and rewarding. We are incredibly thankful for the Town of Oakville giving us the opportunity to take part in this special day and help raise awareness about the importance of educational equity in Halton.
